I fully agree, but would add two points:

1. It's not philosophically clear why the anger of the not-yet-existing people in 2100 should affect decisions in the already-existing people in 2014.

2. The people of 2100 only exist if we make them. And we have no obligation at all to make them. If we choose not to, there will be no one to be angry.
